2023 was a busy year for me professionally and personally, so I didn’t make time for my personal development. I didn’t write any posts this year, and this will be my shortest ‘What I Learned This Year’ post so far.

• Good Looking: A low effort PR was created for an Epic Games repo. The creator also pinged Epic’s entire admin group of around ~40k members, causing an email storm.

• please can I have a fucking exe?: A rant about how bad github is at providing a basic program executable. The sentiment is contrasted on r/pcmasterrace.

• this code very faster: A Linux kernel PR that comments out everything so it technically compiles and runs faster.
